"Motti works with our son, who is diagnosed on the autistic spectrum, and has been guiding us for six months. Our work with Motti gives us an orderly and measured framework for working at home with Yogev, beyond the therapeutic framework in which he is brought up. Motti manages to specify the right goals, and this is what the parents and other caregivers give us of Yogev, tools to improve our skills. This way, the treatment is tailored to the Yogev, his needs, his pace and his abilities. This way, in one session, he can work with the Yogev on a very specific goal while sitting at a table if Yogev is focused and motivated, and on the other hand, run and jump with him if he is less regulated and requires activity physically. The way in which Motti works is a right combination for us... Motti's accompaniment during the meetings, via telephone communication, WhatsApp or any other form we chose, helped us to get tools, along with a lot of sensitivity, professionalism and genuine and sincere care for the continuation of Yogev's process and progress.
We came to Motti for treatment after the diagnosis of a colleague at the age of 3.5. At that time, Amit hardly spoke, avoided eye contact and had many tantrums, frustration and anxiety. We entered very apprehensive, as Amit did not like meeting strangers, she had seen a lot of therapists in her life and we had a bad experience. Unfortunately, we encountered therapists whose treatment goals were not clear, the sessions were not prepared in advance, therapists who made firm and unfounded decisions regarding the abilities of a colleague, therapists who work according to intuition and not in scientifically proven ways
To our surprise, from the first moment Motti was able to make Amit feel comfortable, in an atmosphere that is not traditional treatment but an atmosphere of play and freedom for creation and expression. Amit immediately connected and developed confidence regarding the treatments. From here the progress was very natural and fast, we learned from Motti how to help a Amit effectively express herself, how to stimulate her to communicate, how to teach her simple actions and to conduct herself independently. The frustration was replaced by a feeling of success and satisfaction from every new thing we were able to do together. After less than a year in therapy, Amit speaks, makes eye contact, communicates with adults and children, expresses interest in playing with another and enjoys bonding with others
Amit very happily goes to therapy (not obvious at all), and gets a lot out of it. We are confident because we know that Motti treats Amit in ways that are scientifically proven, with dedication and with constant sensitivity to her changing needs. It is evident that each meeting and treatment was prepared in advance, while thinking about the specific needs of Amit. Motti has accompanied us closely since the diagnosis, is always available for any question and advises in any difficulty, and is in contact with Amit's kindergarten team.
