Autism ?
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological developmental disability.
It varies with age and different developmental stages.
Autism is manifested differently in different people, which is why it is called - a spectrum disorder
Autism is mainly expressed in two aspects.
1. A consistent difficulty in maintaining social communication and/or interaction.
2. Repetitive patterns of behavior and/or actions and/or fields of interest.
In order to determine whether a person has autism these two symptoms should coincide.
There are 3 levels of autism, depending on the severity of symptoms.
There are different levels of functioning, varying from high to low, depending on cognitive abilities.
There are also different levels of social abilities and communicative and verbal abilities.
The best treatment and care should take into account all the differences between people with autism.
